Both are in inches. Official layouts tuck pieces as close as 0.07″, so the default gap is small. Raise it to force walkable lanes everywhere.

Snapping

Grid Angle

The generator lands each piece's measured corner on the grid, so printed dimensions come out in whole increments. Dragging snaps the piece centre instead. Set either to 0 to turn it off, or hold Alt to bypass it for one move.
